The Pram Size Bamboo Knitted Blanket is a smaller sized blanket for everyday use, made from 100% reconstituted bamboo fibre.

Wonderfully soft organically grown bamboo blanket, knitted for breathability.

Feels like silk, washes like cotton!

Fabrics made from bamboo are incredibly soft, smooth and comfortable and are especially suited to allergy-prone skin.

What is also notable about bamboo material is its unusual ability to breathe and its coolness.

As clothing it never sticks to the skin, even in heat and has therefore been dubbed ‘air-conditioning dress’.

This is due to the cross section of the bamboo fibre; it is filled with various micro-gaps and micro-holes, thus creating much better moisture absorption and ventilation.


Bamboo is truly one of nature’s wonder plants and is known as “the plant of a thousand uses”.

It grows incredibly quickly and mature stems are harvested only once the new replacement stems start to grow.

This means that forested areas are never totally depleted and they are also pesticide free.

The sustainable harvesting model for bamboo has gained international recognition – harvesting typically follows a four year cycle which allows the stems to reach maturity before they are harvested.

Bamboo fibre comes from nature and completely returns to nature in the end – it is biodegradable.

Praised as the natural, green and eco-friendly textile material for the 21st century, Bamboo is a lower cost alternative to fine silk and cashmere yarns and more earth-friendly than cotton which uses many heavy pesticides in its manufacture.



How should I wash my Natures Purest products?

Please refer to individual sew-in labels as some products have specific instructions or are sponge-clean only, but where washable, the following rules apply:

Use only non-biological powder.

Maximum temperature 40, but to save energy if it's not dirty, wash at 30.

Do not tumble dry. (However we recommend tumble drying bamboo blankets after washing to soften them)

We recommend that you don't mix your Natures Purest wash with other fabrics.
