With a heart of horsetail and layers of organic coir and mohair, this is a firmer mattress for older and heavier babies. It boasts wonderful spring, breathability and insulation and, with its cotton cover is a mattress Mother Nature would definitely approve of.
As the longest and most durable natural fibre known, horse tail hair gives the most superior and supple spring.
The coir is wrapped in lustrous soft mohair which acts as a superior thermal insulator.
The mattress has a removable outer cover with a zip at one end. The matress cover is made from 100% unbleached natural cotton herringbone fabric.
The inner cover is made from the same high quality material. Inside the inner cover is a layer of Mohair, the silky fleece of the Angora goat, providing a luxurious tufting for this superior mattress.
This forms a springy core sandwiched between layers of Organic Coir (coconut fibre) for extra support and breathability.
The mohair mattress is filled with organic coir from the only certified plantation in the world.
Coir is made from coconut. It has excellent temperature regulating qualities to prevent your baby from overheating.
Inside the inner cover is a layer of organic lambswool tufting, which is naturally fire retardant, anti dust-mite and an excellent thermal regulator, ensuring the mattress is cosy in winter and cool in summer.
Mohair is naturally flame resistent, durable and resilient.
Our mattresses are hand made in a Devon factory and can be made to any shape or size.

FOR MADE TO MEASURE MATTRESSES:
If the mattress is oval in shape or has rounded corners, we will require a paper template of the existing mattress but if the mattress is rectangular, dimensions (length and width) are all we need.
